Preferred Medication List (Formulary)
This is a list of the drugs covered by our commercial plans. These drugs are chosen based on safety, effectiveness and price.
Essential Medication List (Formulary)
This is a list of approved generic drugs for members with Individual and Small Group plans. Select brand-named drugs may also be included.
Essential Plus Medication List (Formulary)
This is a list of approved drugs for members with certain Individual and Small Group plans. It also includes select drugs with special preventive copays.
Medicare Advantage Medication List (Formulary)
This is a list of drugs for members enrolled in Medicare who have pharmacy coverage.
Medicare with Medicaid (BlueCare Plus) Medication List (Formulary)
This is a list of drugs for members enrolled in BlueCare Plus who have pharmacy coverage.

Specialty Pharmacy Program information
A specialty drug is a prescription drug that is given by injection or infusion, sometimes by the provider and sometimes by the member. We have Specialty Pharmacy products for members covered by our Commercial, BlueCare Tennessee and Medicare Advantage networks.
